Like a lot of people said earlier, I thought this was a photograph at first when I saw the DD thumbnail. I like how simple, yet aesthetic the layout of the shells and egg are, as well as the simple colour palette. It's also really nice how, when you take a look at the image in full, there's a texture to it, and I'm especially impressed with the way the egg-white and its lighting is done.

this has probably been said a milion times.. but it's amazingly realistic.. and you used pastels!
when i saw in the the dd list, i thought it was just a phot and was wondering why a photo of a cracked egg got a dd..
but really good work and well-deserving of a dd, congrats!

The egg looks so slick and shiney <3 I like that it's slightly minimalistic. Interesting for a still life.

What a great drawing(or do you call a pastel work a painting?). I especially like the subtle work on the inside of the shell and the way it just trails off at the bottom. Very nice.

wow - this is amazing
I love the concept, and it looks perfect, the simplicity of the colours is good too, allowing the real complexity of reflections etc to come through, I dunno if that made sense, anyway
AWESOME

woah... it's brilliant how such a simple object can appear as the most complex form. Do you use oil or chalk pastels?
