I'm not sure if this is finished.
The light on the sofa looks more like snow to me . . . sigh. I think I'll need to work on it more.
I've got this thing about seating next to windows lately. Don't ask why. . I don't have an answer.

One of your best pieces. Everything works so well, color, composition, mood, a real gem! Makes me thing of Edward Hopper, those big bold strokes of color used to define shape and form so well. I wish I'D done this! I'm so glad to see it's NOT digital!

wow... this is so nice. it looks so...realistic. man, the value is perfectly realistic. it feels... so nice! inviting by the warm colours and light from the cold outside. man, as i feel now... i would LOVE to be here.

How warm...I love the colors you chose. I like the texture under the window and the buttons+folds on the sofa are well done
I agree you need to work a little on the highlights(I think itd be easier if you used a reference, and even if you did, practice!)and also on placing them...I think it should be darker on the top of the left side of the sofa because the rest of that side is darker than the right.

very pretty! at first when i saw this i thought it was oil paint...but then i c pastels...wow...pastels are hard to work w/...at least for me...haha...amazing piece! i love the light and the textures!

The color work is very beautiful, and I think the lighting on the sofa looks like light and not snow. My only thing is the shadow cast on the back of the sofa between those two areas of light... it just looks a little odd. Otherwise, it's a very beautiful piece and is going in my

It almost reminds me of Edward Hopper's work. I really like this, the colours are both invigorating and relaxing, it really captures the mood of being warmed by the sunlight curled up on one's couch. The light on the couch does get problematic in some areas, but I'm still very fond of this entire piece, especially the areas that have been outlined with rough black lines.

i love the colors and the shadowing.
i see what you are saying about the lighting on the sofa looking a bit like snow. maybe just a tad more blending around the edges of the light/shadow, to give it a smoother overall look instead of making the white light pop off of the couch so much. this looks great, though! something i might even be tempted to hang on my wall. somewhere near a window above a couch.
