thanks Jim . .I'm having fun with this one. I just had to keep working on it tonight and I'm actually doing pretty well with the colors under my halogen.
I'll post the finished piece tomorrow.

I think this is the perfect kind of subject for daily paintings. Items or moments that are ephemeral, fleeting, in-the-moment and non-timeless are perfectly suited for small canvases and the immediacy of the project. Very instantly gratifying.
