Cutie pie!! I love all the fluff and the nose freckles/spots. There's just enough of each! I do have a few problems with it though.
I get that the blues are supposed to look soft and nice, and the draker blue looks good! But those cyan paws are just too bright and it makes them very hard to see.
Secondly, the composition seems a little off. My eyes keep moving towards the top of the paper where the eyes are, and towards that heart, which has a lot more contrast than anything else. A good rule of thumb that I use is to make sure that the head is somewhere between the middle of the paper and one of the corners. That is, depending on where I'm going to put the rest of the body. I think for this one though, I might just choose a thinner, slightly taller canvas, and draw his chest in.
