Description
Giant bladder dragon Hellfire bladder dragonRed-wing bladder dragon Antenna bladder dragon
Blue-helmet bladder dragon
Bladder dragons live close to the poles, they can sometimes be found inland but they prefer staying close to the shores where they catch their aquatic meal. In the mornig they rest on top of tiny shoreline islands where they warm up with their 8 meter long wings spread out towards the arctic sun. The young of a Bladder dragon is called a gnawling. They have a giant inflatable bladder inside of their right nostril. This bladder is used to attract a female. The females also have this bladder, but they use them to signal to their gnawlings. Some of them are caught at a young age by the native Umi's. They use them to ride them and catch fish with them. Some Antenna bladder dragons have been found with 7 meter long crests.

Oh no way they live in the arctic? So their wings are kind of like living solar heaters? Heh the mental image of the men blowing their noses to catch a gal's attention has me all snickering. Although it does make me wonder if they are more visual creatures with extraordinary sigh bc of how the females use their nose bladders to alert their young.
I can certainly see why the Umi prefer to catch and train these dragons when they're young. Goodness a full grown one must be massive! Do the Umi's even try to ride the Antenna bladder dragons given their crazy long crests? I mean wouldn't it be dangerous or is in reality a benefit as it could provide protection from strong wind currents??

I think a lot of Umi's would die if they tried to catch a fully grown one ;-; I would asume they only ride the Giant bladder dragon and the Blue helmet bladder dragon. The rest would just straight up kill them :3
