The only way to get better is to practice. Unfortunately. But this is not bad coloring at all, and the coloring you were doing in the last pages of RY was good too.

mmm, but all very flat. i don't mind it so much, Ry was always something that got sorta rushed, it feels. I'm still gonna finish that chapter dammit. Light and Stone is something fresh and unthought out for now though. a blanker canvas to play with is good.

I don't think they turned to stone, but maybe you're right. I was interpreting it as if they carved those. They probably had some level of culture/ beliefe/ art when they weren't stealing couches and driving jeeps.
