" Oh no! Now how's he gonna eat it?"
" I dunno!" *sniff* " Our cake is ruined!"
L stared down at the two children who are both near tears. He felt his chest tighten and before he knew it, he grabbed the children and embraced them tightly.
" Thank you, both of you. It's the nicest cake I've ever had."
* Someday... may fate be kind to you. And I wish you'll never have to take my place...*

Sorry about that.^^ It's an entry to For Valentine's since they say it's too late for christmas (oh, and Merry Christmas to everyone as well.^^). Again, I really adore the idea of these guys bonding as brothers in an orphanage where all the family they'll ever have is each other.^^Also dedicated to my Wammy's House Orphans.^^ My cosplay group.

I adore the idea of them bonding as well. This is so touching and I love what you wrote to go with it. The part that L is thinking (the very last line) nearly broke my heart. Wonderful!

I love this picture for many reasons, but the two ain ones are because:
1. I have a thing for DeathNote pictures with L interacting with the Wammy Boys, so seeing this made my spirit lift. 
2. It beautifully portrays L as the father-figure with the 2 boys. I don't even know how to explain it, but you've just successfully created a fantastic work or art that sends a message to the viewers. Y_Y My favourite devart pic involving L and the Wammy boys is this: [link] It's an important art piece, with a message I honestly keep very close to my heart. And I have to tell you, your piece here ties evenly with it.. Fantastic job drawing this, I wish you had more praise that you deserve.
