While the A-10 is compatible with the TAU triple rail launcher the AGM-65 is designed to be fired from, that system is designed for the F-4 Phantom II; firing the inner most rail results in cooking the main landing gear tires. Common CAP loadouts used the triple-rail system w/2 Mavericks each, 2 TER's with 3 Mk-82's each or 2 CBU-87's, 2 7-shot LAU w/2.75" white phosphorous warheads, 1 AN/ALQ-184 ECM pod and 2 AIM-9 missiles. This was the loadout we used in Operation: Allied Force.
