Original image: [link]So I made a new layout for my lj. I wanted to use the linked image in the background to fill in the empty space, but the crappy jpg was all I could find. ...Which means I had to fix it up myself. Which means I had to re-learn how to vector.
So yeah. The past 17 hours of my life have been spent on... this.
Seriously, I've been working since 12 PM yesterday, only getting up for dinner and bathroom breaks. Ahhh, I have no life.Crona came out beautiful. Ragnarok... not so much. Damn it, Ragnarok, dhfjhsdljkj fdkljhl. It was coming out perfectly before I started shading that sword, too.
I seriously need to find a tutorial on coloring/shading metal or something.
Well, at least the line art is nice. And that's all I really need for the layout, so... not a huge loss. Just, ya know... 17 hours of my life. dskjhfljk; I will never get over that.
...I have all the fail-shading in a group-folder in the layers in Photoshop. So I'll probably go back and re-do it all eventually. x_x
