Crap!! I posted it too late! XDDoes anyone remember the Simpsons ep. called "Lisa's Wedding?". In 1995 we got to see what the world would be like in 2010. Flying cars, holographic trees, and game consoles that feed you virtual food.
Where are they?
Well today, er yesterday was Lisa's wedding day. I HAVE PROOF!! ->[link]
I wanted to make a quick pic for that special day. So here's Future Lisa talking with lil' Lisa. (It's 2010 and the Simpson series still goes on, and no one's aged. XD)
Also there's Snowball II and Snowball V, maybe.
Oh, and the metallic sea sponge thing is from the AVGN. I loved his bit on the game "Street Fighter 2010", I wanted to put it in somewhere.
Congratulations Lisa!

We still think 2020 is the "future", kinda doubt it though, I don't think the "future" would come till 2030s or something, man

It's like Doraemon, The Jetsons and Back To The Future Part II.
Damn! We really suck at predicting the future!

Great job, very funny.
Is not there a robot version of SpongeBob in the future? Too bad.

A;LSKDJF !! My friend and I were talking about this actually. XD Damn I feel olllddd.
And of course the aging conundrum in cartoons never makes any sense... BUT THINK ABOUT THIS: Sideshow Bob got married and HAD A KID WHO IS PROBABLY LIKE 2 YEARS OLD. At least. And yet BART IS STILL 10.
Also, regarding Andy120290's comment... I do thoroughly intend on wearing my pockets inside out the second it turns 2015.

Wooooow late reply because I'm shit. XD So sorry darlin'!!
I feel old as well. =~=
LOL that's hilarious I didn't even think about it! XD What sorcery is this? Maybe they're all on anti-growth hormones, I mean, Lisa confessed it to the press that Homer slipped some into her cereal every morning.
ROFL pockets. I love it when shows and movies make gross assumptions for the future.
I feel like drawing Simpsons again, I'll go do that.

XD That is funny how the series is still running and yet, Maggie is still a baby; she's probably like 10 by now. And not to make a stupid crack at Twilight, but I think Stephanie Meyer got the idea of never aging people for the Vampires from the Simpson's seeing as how Bart and Lisa have been in Elementary school for...How many years now?

Clawshawt In reply to Rizafan203 [2010-08-03 01:04:51 +0000 UTC]
Hahaha! So true. XD
The Simpsons were on the air for about 20 years, Bart and Lisa should be college bound by now (maybe just Lisa). Lol! Simpsons inspiring Stephanie Meyer? Too funny XD

XD Well, look at this way, at least if The Simpsons were to be Vampires, the man behind the series wouldn't make 'em sparkle

I loved that episode. This is too funny.
That's a big problem when your show runs for 20 years.

Lol I know! XD To be honest, the new Simpsons episodes stopped being funny. As much as I love the show, it's probably time they stopped. They had a great run. = )

Isn't though? XD
Oh! I love Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk. My most favorite scene is when the nuclear waste leaks through the ceiling and makes it come crashing down! The guy that falls through acts like it's just another day at the office. XD

Oh yeah! I think my favorite scene is the land of chocolate where Homer sees chocolate 50 % off... And he goes all "WOW" over it.

Clawshawt In reply to 8300-chii [2010-08-08 03:27:11 +0000 UTC]
That scene always makes me crave some chocolate. XD I'm happy that they used that scene for the Simpsons game, sadly they made changes I wish they left alone. You know that chocolate dog that Homer takes a bite out of? I loved his bark and whimper because it was voiced by Dan Castellaneta. But in the game cutscene, they used the stupid dog track that you hear from every other cartoon. Lame.

I never noticed that, but that's too stupid! I didn't really play the Simpsons game. I still stick to Simpsons hit and run. It's just my kind of game.

I know right? New generation Simpsons is really going downhill.
Hey I have that game! 8D I can't for the life of me beat that game. I'm stuck on the level with a third barrel of nuclear waste that needs to destroy the alien ship. I just can't drive there fast enough without hitting ANYTHING else the barrel will explode. *eyeroll* Now that time has passed, I'm internet savvy and can look for tips and tricks online. It's hard getting back to old games that frustrated you in the past though, I doubt I'll ever finish it. XD

The new seasons are really just...Some are alright, but they can't really measure up to the old seasons. I don't think it's because they are getting worse at figuring out a storyline...They pretty much covered everything that can be done.
And GOD that level with the alien ship is a killer. I think I send 5 hours on it alone the first time I played.

that's very true, I mean the show's what 20 years old by now? Fans would have popped up and watched it if they wanted to right?
π: 0 β©: 1
Clawshawt In reply to CoolestNinja1242 [2010-08-04 20:26:40 +0000 UTC]
Lol exactly. ^-^ Sadly the only way you can watch the older eps is if you catch it on tv or if you buy the DVD. Not long ago an older episode would play first, then a newer one followed. Now it's nothing but new cruddy ones, disappointment.
