I haven't really done this before, so here's my attempt to flesh out Roxy and her personality (long read you've been warned!!)

About Roxy

Species: Lynx
Gender: Female
Height: 5'4"
Personality: Excitable, energetic, kind, funny (beware the puns)
Relationship status: Single (somewhat looking)
Likes: Raves, music, her pet fuzzworm, glowy things, hugs, laying in the sun
Dislikes: Rude/creepy people, getting sick, romantic comedies

Roxy is a very positive and supportive person who likes meeting new people and dearly cherishes her friends. She aims to make people smile and keep everyone happy. She loves to go out but also doesn't mind lounging around and relaxing (as some cats tend to do!). She can be very hyper and energetic so be careful not to give her too much sugar! Roxy doesn't like wearing clothes that much but she does love wearing her neon glow tie, assorted scarves, bandannas, and of course glowsticks. Also if you play fast EDM or techno music, you won't be able to keep her still! Be sure to bring a blacklight because all her green markings glow super bright!

A Bit o' Back-story

I created Roxy back in high school after feeling inspired by an old friend who introduced me to her characters and new fursuit. I decided to create a character of my very own too! At the time I was heavily obsessed with conventions and their dance/raves, so I wanted a character who reflected that passion. Roxy symbolizes who I am, what I do, who I would look up to when I'm feeling down. She is the peak of my happiness at a time when nothing could bring me down. Her design used to be WAY more complicated than necessary so overtime I've changed her look to be more simplified. The markings she bears are related to speakers and sound waves . The stripes down her belly however is an inspiration from my mom who loves race cars, so I added "racing stripes" to Roxy's appearance as an homage to my mother. The volume symbol/tattoo on her back has 3 waves so it's on max volume as if to say "pump it UP! Play that music loud and proud!"
I want Roxy to be a good role model so I myself can keep trying to be the best person I can be.
