So I've had a few people tell me that they liked my first Angels vs. Devils drawing ([link] ), and so I decided that since I drew that ages ago, why not give it another try! So this is it so far
Feel free to toss out critiques. I like the poses so far, but one thing that is bothering me now that I take another look at it is the size of the angel's arms. They look a bit small and might need to be extended out a bit more. Also, the hands look too small when compared with the size of the head.
The goal of this picture is to give myself more practice in drawing a more dynamic scene as well as playing around with different facial expressions.
As soon as I finish this, I'll move this to scraps.
Oh, and I'm using OpenCanvas 4.5 this time around. I had been using 4.06 previously, and I have to say that version 4.5 is a very nice improvement

Update 6/24: Finally got around to working on this again
Here's the current state of the lineart.... Hopefully it's looking ok! I'm trying to work on more solid brush strokes, and so far it's going pretty smoothly for me - plus it makes drawing the lineart about 10x faster! Not sure why I never got around to doing it this way in the first place...

I'm guessing you've already modified the angel's arms/hands? They look really good.
Sucks to be the angel though, with that chain wrapped around her neck. This one looks, to me at least, somewhat like a prequel to your first image.

Yeah, the current state of the image has the angel's arms/hands modified - they looked kinda wonky and awkward before. I'm happy you like how this is turning out

Yeah, it's looking good so far. Though I wonder if the angel would ever wear a corset.

yeah the angels arms and hands r a bit small and her legs could be a little more thicker, same with the devils visable thigh. If u want i can print out a copy and draw on it to show u what i mean.^^ other than that its awesome. hope that helped
