Last May I was commissioned to conceptualize what would be the first official promo shots for the upcoming Hunger Games film, which would be featured in the cover story in Entertainment Weekly. Truth be told I hadn't read any of the books, and I was only given the briefest of descriptions of the story and that Jennifer Lawrence would be playing Katniss. Anyway, I did several concepts, and was fortunate enough to see each photographed verbatim by the great Jeff Riedel. Good gig, looking forward to seeing the final product!clayrodery.com

Oh most definitely - I was working in NYC at the time and just got a call just to do sketches for the photographer, no extra info initially. Pays to say YES to everything sometimes. As far as the black and white, it's simply what they paid for
