Specimen R4------------------
This picture is another one I did up for my folio and end of year display.
I chose to do another freaky monster thing, I love this kind of subject because I'm always able to just let my creative juices flow. I don't know why I've always had this obsession with rabbits, but here I did a mutant Frankenstein one. With a human brain, complete with a massive arm cannon. You can see little embryos in the backround too. The idea behind them is that the scientists are trying to create another version of Specimen R4.

You probably saw Watership down when you were a kid, thus the connection between rabbits and morbity! ^...^ great art!

its an amazing british animation of the book watership down. it is commonly mistaken for a childrens movie (animated rabbit movie= kid movie?) but parents and teachers learn their mistake fast when the first few rabbits die and the plot is very grownup ^^

Crazy bloody stuff man, came up great. The amount of detail you put into it is astronomical. You can see the tiny stitches and cords entwined together to hold the beast together. i think his arm and feet have great design in them.
The colours you have used and great for setting a eerie mood. The design of the soundings are cool as, reminds me very much of the corridor of an evil laboratory.
LOL at those two rabbits floating it liquid, one looks evil the other looks sin sear.

My open night is on Tuesday, so tomorrow's really my last chance to get everything up for my display.
Our school finished last Friday, but I recon I'll be at school most of this week cause I still got heaps of stuff to print off for my folio. I got 2 interviews for Graphic Art courses over in Melbourne lol, So I'm pretty nervous myself. But still, it's quite exciting at the same time.

that would be wonderful, i have no chance for college at this point in time. =[ its very depressing.
i wish i could go straight into art, but i just cant afford too, i think it will be a job at a hair dressers for me for a while.
