i think the bg is cool. the only thing i think might help is to lower the contrast of the bg so that it isn't too distracting. also, to make it look official, you could add some depth into the bg characters with cell shading shadows and such.they look a tad 2D. hope i helped. honestly i think both versions rock. and if i was you, i'd use both of them in diff areas..

idk. i like the contrast between the black and white background and the front part. i think because the spirit is so "hot and bright" looking, its a nice contrast. maybe if the background was cleaned up. ya know, cleaner lines and color. i think itll look primo if that was done sir!
