Description First submisson for Bandmerch. I kind of browsed through the Bandmerch gallery, and I didn't see anything that really impressed me. People were submitting low-resolution webcam pics as possible t-shirt designs. That doesn't work. Photography on t-shirts generally doesn't work very well.

As you an see, there are different colour schemes. Not sure if Bandmerch can use the printing process that allows gradients, but i can change the colours to solid colours or whatever they please.

Rooney's a great band. They deserve a nice t-shirt. Hopefully one day you'll be wearing it.

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the Bandmerch contest died out. Nothing was printed. So this t-shirt will probably never see the light of day. Sorry!

That's so lame! There were so many beautiful shirt designs, especially this one! Its a lot better than the ones they have right now, I can't find anything decent :/. I would buy this if they had it

No idea, but for my Dancing Time t-shirt deviantART paid me $250 US. Most designs (like those submitted at Threadless) will land you more than that, in the range of $400-500.

I haven't sold this design yet.

Nice design indeed altough I'm not sure about those colors and it would also mayby look better in solid colors instead of those gradients. What I really like is that vector T-shirt - don't you want to submit it as a vector stock?

I tried solid colours. Doesn't look as good as the gradients.

And really I'm just borrowing from Rooney's colourscheme. They have a poster that's kind of retro like this, in similar, bright, pastel colours.

I can't submit it as vector "stock"; it has a copyrighted logo on it...

AD colors: Ok, if it's Rooney's colorscheme, it's ok - I didn't know

AD stock: I mean only the T-shirt (or is it a complete vector human wearing a t-shirt?) WITHOUT the logo - it would be probably very helpful for other t-shirt designers Just a suggestion...

The design was made in Illustrator CS2. So was the vector shirt/person. The layout was created in Photoshop CS (CS2 blows).

Yeah, have a listen. Rooney only has one album, new one coming Spring 2006, but it's great. It's really hard to describe... music has become so broad and so many "specific" genres that don't mean anything have come up. I would describe it as Pop-Rock.
