Mmmm I stated most of my thoughts in the video's description, soo I'll just re-word it here in case you didn't read it yet-
The Sandwing sisters came off as a dissapointment to me. While they do work as villans for conflict the dragonets have to resolve, they seem p weak in terms of character and come off as one note with exception of Burn, who at least does have some depth hinted to her and I consider all the headcanons of her being the most traumatized by death of Oasis n having phobia of scavengers canon(tm). + having her be the first Sandwing sister we are introduced to in first book left an impression on me that still lasts even after 7+ months since I read the book, as for me it was That effective and I genuinely feared her and for dragonet's safety. All of it combined makes Burn my fave of the trio.

I honestly agree with you. In terms of character, Blaze and Blister were quite flat, since one was pretty vain and the other is just a stereotypical villian who isn’t smart as we’re led to believe (kestrel’s death, anyone?).
Burn, who was known as the belligerent sister, seems to be flat at first, but the scene with Oasis’ grave really shows the readers how complex Burn is, even though she had like a total of 20 pages of screentime. She was quite close to Oasis, as shown in the prologue of TBN (they “got along alright”) and I think Oasis might be one of the dragons who actually understood Burn.
I did HC her to have some sort of depression disorder(Okay here are my nicknames for the sisters, no points for guessing which is which: Depressed, Deceptive and Dumbass) after Oasis died and the war began, similar to you.
But yes, she seems like a much more immediate threat against the dragonets, unlike her sisters, so that’s why I was pretty nervous about the dragonets’ survival.
honestly you pretty much summed up why Burn is one of my fav characters. Wish we got to know a bit more about her. I mean, Tui mentioned that one of the main themes in the first arc is about forgiveness and fate vs freedom. If Burn survived, we’d get both of those tropes, because BOOM Morrowseer here’s your prophecy wrong.
