Description

I haven't been drawing stuffs other than the 2 RP g roups im in for a while now. So did something for myself and drew the OC idea I have in mind for a while now, another Hitman like Wisp but with a different theme. I decided to make this character Native American in theme and ethnicity, but I dont wanna make her look stereotypical by adding feathers and stuff, so I decided to go with a tasseled suede jacket a bolo tie so its sublte.

AGE: Somewhere in her mid to late 20's
GENDER: Female
OCCUPATION: Hitman, Bounty hunter.
SPECIES: Human
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Hetero but not interested
HEIGHT: 5'5

LIKES: Shooting, Gunfights, Money, Helping her village and family, Easy enemies, Her country (not the government and the cults though).
DISLIKES: The Horve government as she blames them for poverty, "Fair" fights, The thought of something bad happening to her village, Racists, Cults.

PERSONALITY:
Poloma is pretty timid and quiet, only speaking when needed and seems uninterested in anything else except money and helping her village. She is objective and logical but not enough to make her get semi-automatics instead of revolvers and for her to leave her religion. Though she enjoys gunfights, she views her job mainly like a chore as enemies who fight back are frustrating for her. She is also a Knallist as in she follows that religion, but in a different less fanatical sect as shes disgusted by the narrow minded fanaticism many of her countrymen and comrades she has fought alongside with during her time in the military.

BIO:
Poloma grew up in a small rural Village in the northern parts of Horve. Since they dont have enough money to afford food (like majority of the population in Horve), she spends her time hunting with a bow, to provide for her family, notably she was really good at it to the point of never missing which caught the attention of the other villagers which gave her some recognition with some saying its a supernatural ability. That is also where she got her nickname.

Years later when she grew up, she decides to enlist in the Horve military to put her skills to good use and to send money back to her village to support them. The Horve military with their aversion to most firearms assigns Poloma in their ranger regiments using arcane energy bows. Poloma with her skills naturally distinguishes herself and became well known in her regiment to the point of being promoted to commander. During deployments however, she notices that her talent also applies to thrown weapons and even other ranged weapons, such as grenades and her TT-33 sidearm issued to her, she'd be using her pistol more and more than her bow as time goes on.

After half a decade of service, she decides to retire and started doing bounties. With her skills, she is able to earn more money to help out her village more than she ever did serving in the Horve military. She bought a Mateba MTR-8 pistol and a Magnum Research BFR using the money she earned and becomes proficient with them. She later even applied for a membership in the Assassin Union to become a full fledged hitman so she can also accept contracts and not just do bounties earning her more money.

STRENGTHS/ABILITIES:
- Superhuman accuracy, almost never misses a shot. She can also ricochet her shots to hit targets behind cover
- Her main Pistol is a Mateba MTR-8 which has the capacity of 8 rounds of .357 magnum in its cylinder, primarily used as double action as the hammer is on the side making fanning difficult. It features the cylinder and the barrel assembly in front of the trigger rather than over it to help with recoil. This is the main pistol she uses in general combat and gunfights.
- Her secondary pistol holstered on her back is a Magnum Research BFR chambered in .45-70 government, only holds 5 rounds, Single action only meaning the hammer must be cocked before firing (but can be fanned), and rounds must be loaded one at a time from a loading gate. She uses this for anti-material, anti-armor, or for targets that are big.
- Shes fast, able to draw her MTR-8 from the holster and shoot at superhuman speeds, clocking in at 0.18 seconds. She cant do the same feat with her BFR though as its holstered on her back.
- Not really that honorable as she will fire even before her targets know of her presence, hates challenges and always wanna do things the quick and easy way. She is an assassin after all.

WEAKNESSES:
- Terrible at close range, has little to no martial arts experience other than the basic moves she learned from her time in the military.
- Shes not even that agile, only knows hot to roll, jump into cover, and go prone as taught in the military.
- Since she always hits, shes unable to do covering fire to protect allies and unable to suppress the enemy to keep them down (they die however which is technically better).
- Her BFR has immense recoil and unwieldy compared to her MTR-8, but she needs to use it whenever she faces stronger targets.
- Has no loyalty (other than her village), can easily change allegiance if her target offers a higher pay than her contract.

EXTRA INFO:
- Powers-wise, shes basically Deadshot from DC with a bit of Revolver Ocelot, mainly the ricochet techniques.
- Her choice of weapons in her story is Reverse MCU Clint Barton as she started out with bows but switching to guns rather than the other way around.
- Her design inspiration is Zora from Epithet erased, but more utilitarian, Native-american rather than Hispanic, short, and has the opposite views on "challenge".
- Her main weapon is primarily double action since from what I learned from Jerry Miculek, speed shooting from a double action revolver with just trigger pulls is faster than Fanning the hammer on a single action revolver.
- Shes actually a good friend of Wisp.
- Her nickname is a Choctaw name meaning Bow.
