To reply to your comment. it's pretty hard to depict an exact accurate Donatello psyche because it is above all, based on how each of us perceive it ( and his personnality slightly differs on each TV shows). I'm trying to stick to the scheme I made in my head of his behavior and way of thinking Β since the bigfoot episode, where he appears more mature). I also think that for the hapiness of the person he loves, (here it is Aprill) Donatello would be ready to sacrifice himself , including giving up on her.
I hope everything I wrote is understandable enough. (it's hard to have Β serious conversations in another language XD)
