yes indeed !, they are transformers! But in human form.

I know this as been done hundred times but I wanted to try with my own style and perception .

I did this drawing before the second movie came out , it is based on the first movie only (not on the animation wich I know nothing about)

Each time I find a deviation with humanized transformers, the characters look like young boys or bishounens.I don't agree with this vision.
I think optimus and megatron should be at least in their middle 40's( here megatron is even in his 50's) .

list of characters from top left to bottom : Megatron- jazz, ratchet- bumblebee- Ironhide- optimus

I did jazz the youngest , Bumblebee is around 25 and ironhide is around 40-45. I did Ratchet black because I think he got african facial features( and voice)in the movie.

EDITED VERSION: I changed Jazz skin color because from the start I wanted him to look hispanic/ latino , unfortunately his skin was a bit to fair. I also enhanced the main color of the whole drawing to make it more harmonious.
