Watched Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi last night for the third time, felt like drawing something about it.I imagined Chihiro years after her first encounter with the spirit world. She would be a student living her ordinary life but somehow she would never have completely forgotten the spirit world.
What if, one day...?
Don't know why I did like a fake screen.

Did you know that Miyazaki (I do not know if it's true or not but...) said that at the very end when she walked through the tunnel and looked back she actually lost her memory of the spirit world?
I still think she remembers it like a lost dream but doesn't know that it actually happened you know? I just thought that was cool fun fact

Well, thank you for the info^^. And you know what? I thought chihiro would Forget the spirit world too . but deep inside of her mine would remain some memories.Plus, she still has the purple hairband, I'm sure there is still some magic left in it. That's why I made haku call her "sen" instead of chihiro in my drawing. i think it would reactivate some forgotten memories.^^

There's always something within me that would like to see completion to many of the animes I watch. I think you've captured this one perfectly. Beautiful artwork, beautiful scene, and the black bars make it feel cinematic. Nice touch

Why is Haku calling Chihiro "Sen"? Wouldn't he call her Chihiro?

Because I guess she wouldn't recognize Haku straight away just by being called Chihiro, Only the spirit world knows that name, nobody else can call her Sen aside from people from there.
