there's a second book. When Chihiro's older or something. I can't give even the basic plot because i haven't read it. The movie was based on the first book obviously, but i think in the second book, Chihiro's trying to figure out a way to live forever and become a spirit or something so she can be with haku again....i dunno. I might be incorrect in some way.

I see how they met again! *spoiler for movie* near the end of the movie spirited away, Chihiro remember's that she almost drowned in the kohaku river when she was little, It makes PERFECT sense that they would meet again IN a river.

Oh my gosh! this is so beautiful...I like the white dragon you painted in the background and the idea of Haku standing on top of the water is just cool. Their faces are lovely and I really like how you drew an older Chihiro in a high school uniform, it looks nice on her. I also like how your background helps keep these two in focus, great job!!

Actually, I like the way Haku is standing on the water, sans reflections.
