I did this poster commission for a compagny named Shibuya international . They wanted to promote their booth during the french animation festival of Annecy. The director of the compagny asked me to draw something that showed the relation they have with japan ( they make professional contacts between france and japan, make artists come to france , make exhibitions, festivals, etc etc)talking with him we came to the idea of a french girl going to japan and a japanese one going to france. I thought the french jumping from an helicopter with a marie antoinette dress and the japanese girl climbing Paris roofs would be fun^^

Déjà, j'adore toujours autant tes colos douces et le fondu entre les deux décors n'est pas brutal, c'est trop bien \o/

en fait c'est moi qui ai choisi d'en faire une marie Antoinette car comme l'entreprise bosse avec les japonais et que les japonais nous voit comme tel, je me suis dit qu'il reconnaitraient tout de suite le côté français dedans (avec la tour Eiffel of course) mais effectivement je vois pas trop pourquoi ils nous voit encore à l'époque rococo surtout que ben, elle est pas très glorieuse cette partie de l'histoire de France mdr.
