first picture of my latest tinkerbell costume. I updated my previous one to look like tinkerbell in" the lost treasure" movie.Need to find a terrence now!

how I did the costume :
I did the leaf pattern with textil paint. I bought a light green fabric (cotton) and then I used 2 kind of painting technics, one was a spray and the other one was a pen, I also bought about 90 dollars of small plastic jewels I stuck all over the fabric.
I got a short blond wig on ebay and styled it .I sewed a hair bun on top of it that I also found on ebay .
I did the wings with thin wire . I fixed the different parts with glue only, after that I added an iridescent fabric on one side of the wings that I stuck over the edges.
I bought a pair of light green ballerinas shoes I painted the same way that for the dress.
I know my description sounds not detailed enough but it is hard for me to find the right words in english to describe how I did everything.
However you can still find tutorials on gallery. She did a tinkerbell wig and tinkerbell wings almost the same way I did mines and they look really great. So if you want to make your own costume, make sure to ckeck her tutorials^^

This is the Tink costume I wanted to make for this Halloween but I couldn't find any decent references! And this is just magical!
I hope you wouldn't mind my asking what types of fabrics you used for the dress, tights, and boots. I've been looking at Jersey knit mostly, but it doesn't have that right...look.
I won't even ask on the wings-I'd NEVER be able to reproduce something of that quality.
You really are the living Tink, and now I feel like I shouldn't even try.

Wow super awesome costume, mind if I ask what type of materials/fabrics you used? My niece wants me to make her tink costume this year and I haven't found any nice leaf like fabric

Ahh, I love how you did the veins on the pants and sleeves! If the Disney Parks ever put Tink in this costume, I can only assume that's what they'd do as well.

I wish I could but here in france they don't think I would .There is no way I could work in Usa as a face: First my english isn't good enough and I don't fit the criterias they have for american face characters. I wish I was younger to try again in 5 years...

Honestly, there are some face characters over here that don't look a thing like the character they're portraying. It's kinda depressing, actually :/
