Fan art done for Miko-Hime on PonyIslandI recently made a fan art thread on PonyIsland. I asked people to fill out a form of their favorite characters, ones that to them deserved a piece of fan art. Out of all the ones that were posted(a total of 54 I believe!) I managed to pick 17 characters that I thought were begging for fan art, and here is one of them.
This is Miko-Hime's character Shira. A really brief history for Shira is here: Shira has never wanted for anything, even whan she was young, but is always on the lookout for opportunities to better her situation and the situations of her friends. Currently, she's in a pretty good place. Shira is queen. She has appointed herself to this position and takes her responsibility very seriously.
She is really a gorgeous character and has so much potential for artwork. And she was even nominated Pony of the Week on PI not too long ago. ^^

Although I wouldn't know what to do for a tutorial. I mean a lot of it is the same as everyone else. Start with circles, then lines for the legs, and build from there. I made a tutorial for how I draw pony heads a long time ago... X3

I do see what you mean by the building being a lot the same. it seems a lot of people do the same to make their ponies yet they are all so much more awesome at it then me x.x
