seems like there are still too many of the black outlines to me, the ones that look like shadows are fine but on the arms and such, thos could be erased/colored over

Yeah, that's because I did it in black and white, and then put the colour over the top. It's really over exposed looking if I keep it at full opacity. So it's on a low opacity over the top.
