How awkward could it be to run into stranger, who's not only a stranger but a foreigner as well? What's even more awkward is what if they didn't know the same language? Oh man the awkwardness... 
But running into a foreigner as good looking as Seto isn't so bad.

I'm a little surprised Seto's eyes aren't open and glaring a t her, but maybe Téa really did knock the wind out of him? But he'll recover quickly enough--probably to insult Téa without realizing who she is and, upon finding out, insulting her even more because he's frustrated at having to do this for Atem. He's going to take all of his frustrations re: Atem out on Téa, and she'll be frustrated at him for representing a marriage she doesn't want and then...hey, somehow they'll fall in love with each other, right?
It's the journey, after all, not the destination!
