Ouch. Looks like they hit one one of the sad ending
This scene has quite the impact. Miku's face reflect so much feelings. She looks so tired and exausted, like her life left with Len. The loosed hairs also add that effect. And Len's expression seems to mirror that. I think he fought bravely for Miku and won, only to fall due to his injuries. Almost like love gave him time to keep the Reaper away for a few more minutes. I'm willing to bet he apologized to Miku before dying. That rain also add a nice touch, as if Heaven was weeping with Miku. You did a great job.
On a side note, it's funny that you said that the background was from Skyrim. I was just thinking it reminded me of that game before reading your note
