What we do on B-days? We PARTY! So I decided to do something really joyful, very disco like, full of colours and balls (used so many scripts to build it I can't remember all), placed on a summer night disco colour background, and et voilΓ‘!All Apophysis 3D, Photoshop CS2 for background, Paint Shop Pro IX for some tweaks.

A lot of people don't pull the whole multicoloured deal off very well. You've done it some justice, however. I also like the contrast between the seemingly flat edges of the piece and the center, which has a good deal of depth and form to it.

I guess the trick is not to apply the gradient as it is. I usually mess around with it until it get more or less natural. I understand many people don't try fearing they will not make it. Most of all, we need to like what we do.

It is a risk working with strong colours and playing with a colourful background but I loved it.
