Endymion Class Guided Missile Cruiser, CG-99. Modeled after the scrapped plans of the US CGN-42 Aegis equipped cruiser.

In the story, ten ships of this class were built in Logan shipyards from 1979-1982.
The Endymion class saw no action in the battle of Ronkonkoma, but played a major role as a carrier escort in the later part of the Theoilian-Lucana wars.

These aging ships are outfitted with Aegis technology. They were the second class of ships to receive them, the first being the Constellation class destroyer. More specs to come.
