Naomi is poor and still wears her clothes from high school, and she doesn't wear make-up as she is unable to provide for such luxuries. Despite this, she is confident about her looks and believes that a guy should love her for what's inside. She does love fashion, and it isn't so much as a secret. Rather she feels that no one really cares to know.

She has a hard time connecting with people as she feels that society has forced sociability upon her. While she appears normal on the outside when you talk to her, inside she would always rather be alone. This is because she lacked early connection with people as she was home schooled most of her life, and her mom refused to let her go to public school until high school. Naomi could never find refuge in her dad, as he was always away at work. In sort, she feels like people were never on her side, so why should she be on there's? She wears a mental mask to hide her feelings though.

Naomi struggles with learning, even though she actually does love to learn. She knows that she needs to repeat things a lot to remember them, and most her high school teachers never gave the time necessary to help tutor her. In her home schooling course her mom never cared if she got her work done or not.

Because Naomi comes from a poor family she strives to excel in what she does in hopes of helping out her family when she is successfully hired in her chosen career. [Even though her dad is in the Navy, her mom gambles and is scammed a lot when buying things.]

Despite trying to go to medical school she wasn't smart enough to get accepted. In other words, her grades from high school ranged in the average. Uncertain of her future, she decided to follow her heart to go to school for art. However, this has caused her a lot of stress as her parents are not supportive of this action and has decided not to pay for her school, and Naomi was forced to get a job to pay for it herself. Despite her parents being okay with her living there, she couldn't handle the pressure of disappointing them with such a "useless" career choice, and has moved out. She gets tense sometimes thinking about her future and is afraid she really isn't making the right choice, but she hides it well when she is out.

She's quite embarrassed speaking about it, and gets really geeky when it comes to talking about his shows and movies. The shows and movies are actually really old, and just about no one knows about it nowadays.
