My God... That makes me want to write something sci-fi RIGHT now...
"The capital ship of the Temporal Cephalarmy lay framed by debris seemingly TOO long there, the bitter pall of of time dilation a thickness in the air. 'Too quiet... seems too cliche' thought Tundra Grey ruefully. The tiny klaxons being fed into her sensory suite notwithstanding, she wasn't going to let a little thing like the time-stream being 'special touched' by Parties Unknown stop her from checking this out. The silence outside the ship was deafening as she fell slowly from the hatch onto the dusty surface. She HATED that saying but it seemed appropriate as she approached the monolithic war machine surrounded by the blackness.
Standing on the cold rock of Luna all by her lonesome certainly didn't DISSUADE one from the interpretation either.
'How in the #%$% is this thing HERE...' The question was rhetorical and remained unanswered by her inner monologue as she neared the wreckage. Sensors indicated a high tachyon concentration and if the levels were to be BELIEVED, this thing had been here for going on 200 YEARS. Impossible of course, the GNSF Belvedere had stalemated it just off Alpha Centauri's asteroid belt not more than a week ago. NOTHING was making sense.
She spotted them as she approached; skeletons. 'Great, as if this isn't crazy enough, NOW I have decomposition in a vacuum. What's next; voices from beyond...?'
'Transmission detected. Transmission detected. Transmission Detec-'
She flicked her eye in annoyance at the 'Play' button on her HUD, 'Oh. My. God. Shut up and PLAY it computer!'
The hologram materialized instantly in front of her; the opaque visage of a Cephalon gurgling at her from beyond. '-ink Monkeys have persecuted us across millenia, so with our dying act we spit ink in your eye. Perish in fire and agony, Apes. 10...9...8...'
'Computer! scan for active weaponry, NOW!'
'Scanning... Confirmed. High yield Dark Matter explosive located within vicinity.'
'7...6...5...'
She couldn't even FORCE the false bravado in her voice with NO ONE around to hear her. Her words came out hollow, flat. More like a eulogy than a swarthy retort in the face of death. But she said them anyway. She'd be damned if she'd die in silence even if she WAS surrounded by it.
'4...3...2...'
'I wish I'd eaten more Sushi...'

My friend, I'll take, 'Blown Away' from you any day of the week, even if it IS just surprise at your inspiration creation! (On a sidenote: is it just me, or does that sound TERRIBLY dirty, now that I'm reading it again...?)
But seriously man, to quote:

no, no, I'm sorry I was kidding my friend, I REALLY appreciated the reply! Sorry, my facetious bone gets the better of me sometimes, lol. Honestly I was THRILLED to get a comment from you, I've loved your art for quite some time and that page was so cool, I had to put something down. I believe my girlfriend described me as, 'a tweenage girl at a twilight premiere', when I read her your reply.
Yea, I fanboy sometimes, who doesn't? lol
Thanks again man, truly!
George!

It just clicked and I remember meeting You when I was at the Kubert School. It was the end of Your second year.

Hey Cliff!
Yeah, the end of my second year at the Kubert School was, admittedly, a big mess. I was having issues with my room mates and the whole half of second year kind of spiraled out of control. I pretty much dropped out toward the end and left school early. I definitely regret not finishing at the Kubert School (and I often credit first year there as being one of the most artistically defining years for me), but at the time, leaving was the right thing for me to do.
Anyway, yeah - it's been a long time, but we met many years ago, haha.

did most of the page with a RaphaΓ«l Kolinsky Red Sable Fine Pointed Round brush, the tech I did most if it with hunt 102 nib and microns
