Description
I went to a cemetery today to see if I could take some pictures.I like visiting cemeteries, I think they are wonderful places to relax after a stressful week.
The cemetery near my house is one of the oldest of Amsterdam and it has graves dating back to the 18th century.
I found this lotus and his companions in a pond which was actually part of a huge grave/memorial.
The colours in this picture haven't been altered in any way.

True -- the whole cemetery thing would explain the peaceful feeling to the piece. But ... the colors. Just ... wow! They are such a pretty shade of pink, and it's hard to find that color, in general. I also like that you caught some of the shadow/reflection on the water.

I was pleasantly surprised with the colours as well. I made several, but this was, in my opinion, the best and most interesting shot (as interesting as Water Lilies go I think

Gorgeous coloring, and I love the dimension in this shot. There is something wonderfully peaceful about it.

Well, it was taken at a cemetery
But yeah, the colors were quite striking, I didn't even have to alter of exaggerate them in PS.
There were white ones too, but the sun stood high and they were almost impossible to shoot properly because of it.
