I have a question.This may be a dumb question to people who are in the fandom for years but i havent read the books and i want to ask.Why did Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw take care of Hollyleaf,Lionblaze and Jayfeather if they are not their kits?

Squirrelflight is Leafpool's sister, making her the kits' aunt. Squirrelflight wanted kits with Bramblestar, but she was told by Starclan that it couldn't happen (she was never able to hold a pregnancy until Alderkit and Sparkkit, who came much later). Leafpool wasn't allowed to have kits, since she was a medicine cat and the father (Crowfeather) was from another clan. Leafpool had Lionblaze, Hollyleaf, and Jayfeather by accident, and Squirrelflight raised them so that 1) she could have children, even if they were adopted, 2) Leafpool could keep her medicine cat position, and 3) the three wouldn't have to grow up ostracized for being illegitimate half-clan cats.
