Jay looked into Rory’s eyes, his red hair flipping round his face in the breeze; he could hardly keeps his lips to himself as they talked. He knew Jay was upset by the prejudice they had encountered today, Rory was used to it, but being Jay’s first boyfriend, he knew Jay wouldn’t be. Jay’s eyes glittered, the tears filling his eyelashes as they pattered down his face, the silk of Rory’s hand against his cheek made him shiver. Rory slipped his face into Jay’s black hair whispering into his ear,
“I love you”
Jay looked shocked, his eyes glancing at the wall surrounding him. His mind did black flips trying to sort his way through all his options, the pain that the jeering caused him today, but the ecstasy that Rory’s words, actions and emotions bought him, was it worth it? Suddenly he realised
“I love you too”
