Nate stared at the approaching figure, clutching his books in his long slender fingers; he wasn’t surprised as he fought to disguise the fear in his eyes. He had found solace, at least for a while, in a library where he had built his fort up with books as he tried to learn the best way to escape. The books had been of no help and he sat there holding one into his chest as their shadows flittered over him. He stood up, backing himself into a wall as he panicked. His cool pretence had vanished as he tried to think of a way to deflect their attack, their evil laughs cackling through the library.
“Get over here geek”
