when someone's crying in a dark room
silently, yet you can tell,
that feeling of sorrow you can feel,
that makes you feel the world
is more evil than you knew before,
that's me.
when life drags you backwards,
through that rose bush,
yet there are no blooms left,
that desire to give up,
that pain you feel,
that's me.
when you enter your own space,
ready to sit down and cry,
and you realise that it's all gone,
someone's kicked you whilst you were down,
and now you feel so lost,
that's me.

everything that's bad in the world only serves to promote the good.
everything that's dark in the world only serves to promote the light.
so now you look at me and tell me that i'm the dark and you're the light
that i'm the bad and you're the good
and for that reason you're leaving?

when someone tries to leave you,
so out of passion you try to stop them,
when you kick them too hard,
when emotions take you over
and you see them fall,

when a kick in the neck
is as close as they get to you

swinging wildly,
