His first day from the nest is a rainy day, which presents more problems to the photographer than to him. His heartbeat alone will blur photos at 1/60th, not to mention mine, which pounds to see him and his sister come to my hide in the mulberry tree. Each year that a new generation of downies is born, I feel that I have done something in life.
