Forgive me if I have fallen in love with these three cheetahs at the Kansas City zoo. In time I hope to be able to tell them apart. That will be a few photographs from now. There is a magic distance from the tripod where the animal fills the frame of my lens completely without a crop. This is it right here, where the cheetah makes a loop in it's afternoon walk. For me, rightly or wrongly, the key to the photograph is the dark amber eye, the depth of which is just barely discernible. I really hope you enjoy this photograph.
