All these paintings are oil on canvas.I like to paint on canvases that offer me enough room to really get a nice thickness of differing colours,leaving the work to dry for three or four months. That way I can put a contrasting colour on top of what is now dry and stable. if i then want extra delineation in the image I take out my trusty steak knife ( I'm vegetarian,so this is the only use I have for them )and scratch through the wet coat to reveal the colour beneath.My favorite canvas size is four feet by five feet.I hope that's useful.

very wonderful. i have always loved your pieces.what medium do you use on these? this could have so many different meanings depending on who is looking at. it conveys a bit of fear and sadness and yet a hidden mystery all at the same time. your artwork is truly beautiful in the most wonderful sick and twisted way.<3
