Description
The sun shone dimly over the cold town of Wynsiph in the early hours of morning. Pebbles and snow crunched under the quad's feet as she walked down the path, puckoo wrapped safely in her arm. It was still sleeping, occasionally stirring but otherwise keeping still in the wyngro's arm. A small bandage, faded yellow over time, was wrapped firmly around it's one broken leg.

This wasn't the first time Phea had to part from her loving puckoo; She had lost Rosie before, when she was a wyngling. Not long after getting a new puckoo, Timmy, she too had to let him go, due to puckoos not being allowed in the nook.

In fact, this was the reason why Phea had to give Rosie away. Alma discussed it with the young quad, not long after she had reunited with her thanks to Eerie discovering the puckoo in the woods. How she had survived after all this time, Phea didn't know. But having to depart from Rosie after only finding her again tore Phea's heart.

It was Alma's suggestion to give Rosie to a farmer. Phea was unsure if anyone would look after Rosie for her, remembering the time they couldn't find anygro to take in her previous puckoo, Timmy. The other option was to set Rosie free into the wild, yet Phea couldn't bring herself to do it. It was too cold, and there was no way the puckoo could make it out there. She had already lost Timmy, whose fate was uncertain.

However, Phea did eventually find a farmer. He was an old gro who had travelled to Wynsiph not too long ago, and went by the name of Magnus. Phea had seen him around a few times, but was too nervous to ask him. As a week went by, Alma grew impatient and Phea decided that she couldn't wait any longer.

This is the farm. Phea told herself as she arrived. Magnus had decided to rebuild an old abandoned barn, and had set up a small field for spoodles, and a small area for the puckoos. It was here Phea saw Magnus. The old gro was crouched over to the puckoos running around his feet, cooing to them. There was a large coop to the left, that seemed sturdy and warm. There were plenty of rocks to guzzle on. It seemed perfect for a puckoo to stay.

"Ah, missy! What can I do teh help yer?" Phea's gaze snapped over to Magnus, who had noticed the quad standing outside the fence. Anxiety hit Phea; What a stupid idea! Ask somegro to take my puckoo! What was I thinking!? Phea tried to think of an excuse to leave, but was interrupted;

"Ah! What a lovely lil puckoo yeh got dere!" Magnus eyed Rosie with wonder. "My! What 'appened to it's leg?"

"It..er...it's broken." Phea choked out the words, clinging onto Rosie. Am I sure this is ok? Phea asked herself. Well, it was definitely too late to turn back. "Her... name's Rosie. She is my wynglinghood pet. I can't keep her though, because puckoos aren't allowed at the nook...where I live..." Phea felt a bit embarassed, but as she looked at Magnus she could see the amazement he held in his eyes when he looked at Rosie.

"Poor lil thing," The old gro cooed to the puckoo. "Look at 'er lil leg, it all broke. Maybe I could 'elp patch 'er up a bit, keep 'er here till she gets better, you'd like that?" Phea couldn't say the words, so she nodded and slowly passed the sleeping puckoo over to the eager gro. Phea knew if Rosie woke up then, she would squawk with fear at leaving her owner. Phea felt pain rush through her, and had to resist all the temptation to run away. "You'll look after her, won't you?" Phea asked, voice strained. She sounded like a wyngling. "Of course, don't ya worry bout it. I promise."

Magnus grinned happily at the sleeping puckoo in his arms. He looked genuine. Phea managed a small smile in return and turned to walk away. "Thank you."

Note: Magnus is an NPC I made, and thus doesn't count for wyns

So Phea isn't leaving Rosie forever, she will visit her from time to time at the farm. Also when I finally get Phea to move out the nook, she will take Rosie with her.

I needed to make this because after Phea and Rosie reunited I couldn't just leave Rosie in the nook, since puckoos aren't allowed in the nook >w<
