An experiment to try something I usually don't do, what do you guys think? Did I do well? Where could I improve.Fun fact: The original sketch had the jet stream look like lucky charm cereal

The layout and the shading and the colors~
I think the only thing that could be improved would be a little bit of anatomical work? Maybe studying from figure drawing or referring to refs, particularly on hands/joints and facial structure?

Well the picture is quite old now, and I've improved in the areas since I posted this, obviously we are always improving and there is still probably I can lean a lot from referencing, but just saying, thank you.
And also thanks, I really enjoyed working on the bright colours, I wanted to really try and focus on a picture which showed a kick ass female character, but she was still quite girly, I was inspired by the effort of making something for Neice, whom is very into Barbie and princesses.

Haha, Well the whole with was an experiment with better background and highlights, I didn't get the result I wanted, but I plan to tinker, but I still think it looks good with the result I was going for.

The colours look really good, though I think her feet are a bit too small compared to the rest of her legs and the metal parts could use a bit more shine

I agree, I do believe the metal could of been better, but at the time I was more focusing on lighting and a new colouring method than actually making the material right, so my bad.
As for the feet, I was basing them off of someone I know whom is.., generously plus sized and has a tiny set of feet and hands compared to the rest of her.
