Let me start with the lighting, I love the lighting and the glow that comes from the character and it gives the very serene and calm atmosphere. The way that it comes from the trees and then to the foreground makes it so lifelike and very warm. Also, I have to add that your leaf game is so on point! Oh my gosh I just love the leaves in this picture and the way they are bunched up and painted perfectly as well as how they are just caught in the wind and how the reach the foreground as well~! The way they get from bright to dark based on the contrasting light, and how well they also look with the bark of the trees is just absolutely stunning and beautiful!! Now I have to add the water, I have to talk about the water, I LOVE how you drew out the water it looks so clean and crisp and seeing the light from the water and how it falls down from the rocks like a small waterfall is just absolutely STUNNING. And also I got to add that I love the details on the fur and the anatomy because it feels so real and also...

and yes i'm so glad you like the leaves HAHA pictures with lotsa background foliage work has always been a little intimidating since i didn't really have a technique for painting them yet. but now i think i do, and its going to make future big forest drawings soooo much easier *____*
