I personally like to think he was an affection guy, like really nice and loving. A person that thrives on other people's company would just suffer more in the existential nothingness that is the Void, where all you can do is watch and listen :^)

Toriel - Nice, sometimes aloof.
Asgore - Derpy, kind, pushy.
Sans - Lazy (Thats cannon..)
Papyrus - Shy, cute, with a british sounding accent.
Frisk - Adventurous

Sans - Swears a lot. Often by accident since he's learned all of it from Gaster.
Pap - Rolls his R's.
Asgore - Big Goat dad.
Toriel - Somewhat chubby lady, with a posh british accent, often somewhat stern on Sans' swearing.
MKid - Often trips over. Has no arms due to a genetic defect. Alphys' younger brother.
Alphys - Nerdy weeaboo scientist.
Undyne - Adoptive big sister of MKid, since Alphys is his big sis. Often watches anime with Alphys.
Frisk - Kind, tried to commit suicide by falling down.
Gaster - Confused idiot grandfather that swears too much and has a tendency to possess others and forget to breathe.
Mettaton - Napstablook's cousin. Often visits his younger cousin, has a tendency to get possessive.
Chara - Tried to be nice, but saw that it wasn't worth it.
Napstablook - Depressed cousin of Mettaton.
