The heroes, Firefly and Night Goblin, are out on patrol tonight. Passing the time, Firefly tries to deliver a nice intro to Night Goblin, though he does believe it is the right fit for him.

BTW, Night Goblin has a slight British accent, hence his strange speech patterns.

Talked to 42x... i'm making maximum destruction a novel, and this is absolutley horrible to get into written form. Could you help me out tweaking it to fit into a written format possibly?

Interesting new character - although I'm not too keen on his voice! What part of Britain is he supposed to be from?

Haven't really thought too far on where in Britain he is from. Just wanted to add an accent.

If you have any advise on writing British accents, I would like to know. It would help me a lot.

Well there are loads of different regional accents, so if you don't have one in particular in mind, I wouldn't give him heavily accented speech at all. If you don't have a 'voice' in mind, it will just come across as odd!

You have a point. Wasn't really thinking too far ahead there.

Been doing a bit of research on the different British accents and found one called Scouse. From what I've read, it originated from the northern end in Britian from Liverpool. Is that right?

Yeah - that's right! But if you haven't heard it I wouldn't try to write it.

Thankfully, this is the internet, so finding videos of people speaking Scouse or even some pages on how to write Scouse. If all else fails, I could just get him to speak regularly.

Staring off into the city on a rooftop is always the best way to see what's going on...

Actually, it's when you don't have any experience that you need a partner the most.
