Description
A very late upload of my February doodles. Late because of coursework, lack of scanner access, scanner problems, yadda yadda yadda. I think I've decided my system for these will be the most recent sketchbook month will be in the gallery, with the older ones moved to scraps. So, January is now in scraps. "Real" art will be coming up shortly, schoolwork willing, so if you don't like the between-class doodles just hold you horses. :bI numbered these so I could give mini-descriptions to them.
1. This is me, because I missed a pretty great opportunity one day.
2. Basically my Valentine's Day picture, but I never finished it up. These two are from my eternally-in-progress comic Cyanide Hill.
3. Two more Cyanide Hill characters, this time in unusual situations. Trip is in his work uniform and Mason is smiling. The world must be ending.
4. Last Cyanide Hill character of the month. Just working out her style of dress.
5. Designs for a sculpture project. We were supposed to be making clothes or accessories from platonic solids. Here are my designs for a shoe, bracelet, mask, and a headphone-Mp3 player set. I eventually went with making the headphones. Pictures soon!
6. A water fountain full of bees. Obviously.
7. A quick picture of Griffin from The Invisible Man. Probably the character that gets the most fanart from me.
8. Gregor Samsa from The Metamorphosis.
9. Little Gregor, sad that his sister won't play for him.
10. Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy, inspired by their designs Spider-man: Blue. Gwen looks awful, but the clothes were fun to design.
11. A neat staircase from the university library.
12. Griffin again.
13. The strange scene that grew out of my sketch of a buffet table at a gallery show opening. skeleton wedding reception being set up.

These are fantastic! I actually sometimes think that sketches are more fun to look at that completed drawings because they offer you more of a glimpse into how the artist sees things. Even just reading your descriptions, your vision is wonderful

I'm very sorry about your fail in number one.
Three made me squeal internally. Had it been manifested in audial form it would have cracked the window. Srsly.
Five. I almost wish you went with the mask.
Twelve and thirteen are just- They just are!

I thought you'd like 3.
Mask would have been too hard to fit for my inexperienced hand.
Are good?
