Description This is the first half of my first project for my 3-D design course. The assignment was basically "Here is foam board- go make two bas reliefs. All straight edges, no recognizable imagery. One must be doubled or symmetrical in some way. Bonus points if you actually get it to hang on the wall."

This was a total pain to construct. I'm really not a 3-D kind of art kid. I'm too clumsy and weak to skillfully wield a utility knife. Got a decent grade on it, though, so it wasn't a total bust.

Decent grade for the win! In sculpture class that's a pretty big accomplishment

Did you get it to hang on the wall?

Yes, I did! I cut a couple of holes in a back layer that didn't show from the front and put thumbtacks in them. The wall we were hanging the things on was a sort of cork board kind of thing, so it hung nicely. In this picture it's just taped to my dorm door, though. :b

Do I see a pun there, missy? Heck, you did a lot better than I ever could! Congrats on the decent grade!
