Description
Here's a rushed pre-AP piece I did while we were on break last year. You can tell we were on break because I didn't have access to the nice art department paper and had to use the flimsy, cheap stuff from my sketchbook. The pencils didn't take very well to it...Plus, I'm inept at shading skin. The gears are also cringe-worthy. This was inspired by an empty locket I used to wear all the time (It broke recently...). People always asked me who's picture was in it, and seemed disappointed when they found out it was empty. I wanted to give them a more satisfying answer!...Of course, after this was put in my school's art case in the front hall, people asked me if all the gears and such were inside it and were doubly disappointed...Whoops.
Prismacolor colored pencil
Picture this was referenced from was taken by me of my own hand.

Haha, really? Awesome! Too bad it's all streaky up close. Makes me sad the AP testers don't look at tiny slides anymore...they can view them at full size. D:
