Now this is definitely something you don't see every day... o__o
I made my first fleece skull hat/beanie!!!
I'm so psyched because I just had the sudden idea to make one. So my Mom took me to the fabric store and I picked out sweatshirt fleece to make mine - but I made two variations of it. This one is my favorite in particular though. ^__^What do you guys think?

It's always slow at first, but if you really work at it, I'm sure people would like your hats. =o Like I said earlier, I can easily imagine you'd get pretty creative with it after making more. You seem to already have clientele judging from what you just mentioned. X3

But there's so much competition out there. o_o I dunno if I'm that talented, given the fact I've seen other hats done by people who have probably been making them WAY longer because I just started. I do have some ideas sketched out thus far, the only thing I need is to get the right fabric for it.

Yeah. That is very true. =o I too sell hats... and yeah, it's pretty competitive. XD But there is a few things - uniqueness and quality, as well as ability to advertise and stick to it.

I've always wanted to make hats for a while, and eventually told my mom. She helped me out with the guidelines, but I ultimately put a couple hats together. I have a variant of this skull one where two parts are just all black, then the band at the bottom has the same skull pattern rather than the all black on this one. ^^
I'm actually kinda happy, and will probably start selling hats when I make enough of them. I do need some money right now to pay off a couple things, so this could be a good way because no one is hiring at the moment. I'm waiting until around Christmas time to start really looking for a part time job to also support me going to school - tuition has gone up. x_x

That's a nice catch to find a house that you're renting. Lucky you all the way for that, I live with my parents, older sister and cousin who just moved in about nearly a month and a half ago.
Well, as long as you have money to pay the rent and extra to cushion you're good. I'm looking for a part time one where I won't necessarily have to drive to get there - I'm really close to the mall, and walking saves gas since it only takes me five to ten minutes to get there and back.
I'm hoping to work at a Barnes and Noble that I live really close to, or at least somewhere in the mall at a retail store but you never know.
