Description Arkyn doesn't have a last name because his father (William) doesn't even remember the family name. He's kind of... ancient. Arkyn on the other hand, is 27. Oh, speaking of his daddy issues; the name Arkyn means son of the eternal king. You could say that William is a bit conceited. There's a whole, over-arcing family story, trust me.

In my world, about half of the vampire race are somehow related to William, whether they know it or not. He does have a reputation as the vampire king, in a way. Arkyn grew up abused and neglected by William, so he had plenty of reason to run away from home once he was an older teen. William doesn't make it a habit of keeping his kids around; but William kept his mom around for awhile in his freaky murder cabin, so Arkyn was unfortunately raised in that setting. Growing up, Arkyn quite literally had to fend for himself, fight for scraps, and try to avoid William's wrath. When he finally got the guts to run away, he was pretty much feral. He had to learn to control his cravings for both vampire and human blood, which sucked (pun intended), how to actually interact with other people, and how to make enough money to survive. As you can imagine, with no education and no idea of how the real world works, he ended up falling into some nasty business(es). But he also learned a lot about what it means to be your own person, and not live your life in constant fear of your crazy serial killer dad coming after you next.  At some point he decided to go searching the globe (well, just north America actually) for his many siblings. And boy, did he find them. A lot of them. All kinds of people, good and bad, being effected by William's crappy bloodline. A lot of them didn't even know they were related to William. A lot of them, by no coincidence, crave vampire blood as well as human blood. Seeing just how deep William has his grimy claws sunk into the Earth, really changed Arkyn. For the first half of his life, he'd been confined to the four walls of William's current murder cabin out in the woods. That was his entire world. Learning that the torture actually continued outside of those walls, was mind-blowing for him. Frightening, too. So, he leveled out. Turned into a super chill dude, and made a little life for himself--freaky Tumblr blog and all. At some point he learned about the whole goth aesthetic, decided that it was for him, and ended up being an extremely goth adult man. Now he lives a pretty relaxed, content life getting other people to do his dirty work for him while he sits back and makes money. He mostly just watches Netflix and YouTube these days. Oh, and he eats tons of junk food.

Can't wait to battle with this guy over on Art Fight! He's actually one of my favorite characters.

Edit: his neck thinner

Some kind advice id give is ti either make the head bigger or make the neck a little smaller, very disproportional. But i believe that with some practice you’ll go far with your art!

Hi, Jello! Thank you for the advice! I wanted him to look very brutish in a cartoony way, so the thumb look was intentional! However if it's too bothersome to look at, I will most certainly tweak it a bit!
